Peace of Mind magazine

Peace of Mind magazine ⋆

Peace of Mind is a magazine dedicated to helping young adults with their mental well-being. It includes articles that provide advice from professionals and doctors on how you can nurture your own mental health, and how you can help a loved one you know is struggling.

This project required me to: Design the cover and how the cover would work in a series, create a logo and brand identity, design grids and layouts for the typography on each spread, and make a proposal for the brands social media presence. Even though it was not a requirement, I made the creative decision to illustrate all images myself.

ONLINE PRESENCE:

As the target audience is young adults, social media platforms are the very beneficial to Peace of Mind. This is because it gives a chance to offer advice and support to any reader at anytime. I designed both a working website where users can buy the magazines, sign up to the subscription service, read latest articles and get in contact with Peace of Mind team. The Instagram account holds the same content, but offers more updates on issues being published and inspirational content such as quotes from the magazines.

INSIDE SPREADS:

It was important to me that the magazine had a calming and personal feel for readers, as some may be going through a difficult time when reading. With this in mind, I decided to illustrate the inside and cover myself, to create this sensory affect.
